Today, we’re venturing to Asheville, North Carolina—a charming mountain destination teeming with culture, natural beauty, and family-friendly fun. Grab your hiking boots and your sense of wonder, and let’s dive into our 7-day itinerary!

Day 1: Downtown Asheville
Immerse yourself in Asheville’s vibrant downtown, full of unique shops, art galleries, and amazing food. Don’t miss the Asheville Pinball Museum (Hours vary daily, check https://ashevillepinball.com for hours; $15 all ages), where you can play vintage pinball and arcade games.

Day 2: Biltmore Estate
Spend the day at the Biltmore Estate (9 AM-5 PM; tickets: As low as $79 for adults), America’s largest home. Explore the gardens, enjoy a picnic, and don’t miss the farmyard in Antler Hill Village.

Day 3: Blue Ridge Parkway
Enjoy a scenic drive along the Blue Ridge Parkway, stopping at overlooks for photos. Consider a hike at Craggy Gardens (free admission).

Day 4: North Carolina Arboretum
Discover the beauty of the NC Arboretum (8 AM-9 PM; parking: $20 per personal, standard vehicle). Kids will love the bonsai exhibition and the interactive exhibits at the Baker Exhibit Center.

Day 5: River Arts District
Explore Asheville’s artistic side in the River Arts District. Visit studios, watch artists at work, and maybe even take a class. Have lunch at 12 Bones Smokehouse, a local favorite.

Day 6: Chimney Rock State Park
Visit Chimney Rock State Park (8:30 AM-7 PM; Adult – $17 ; Youth ages 5-15 – $8 ; Ages 4 and under – Free ) for hiking, views, and the chance to meet some animals at the Animal Discovery Den.

Day 7: Asheville’s Historic Trolley Tour
End your trip with a hop-on-hop-off trolley tour (https://graylineasheville.com/) to learn about Asheville’s history, architecture, and local lore.
